Sending Your Knife in for Service:

Remove and retain any third-party components. I am not responsible for loss or damage to third party components.
Wrap your knife securely in a cloth or its original padded case. Be sure that the blade will not be able to penetrate the packaging in transit.
Seal your packaging well to prevent damage in transit.

Choose a carrier you trust, and won’t have issues with on return shipping.
I highly recommend having additional insurance that covers the full market value of your knife.
Be sure to ship your package with tracking information.

Please contact me before shipping your knife so I can be available for delivery.
Provide me with tracking information so I can be aware of any delays or issues while it’s in transit.
I am located in Syracuse New York, so delivery times will vary depending on your distance from me.

I will send you an email confirming that your knife has arrived safely.
Unless I need clarification on your desired knife services, you won’t be contacted again until your knife is completed.
Service Lead time is currently 1-2 weeks.
Shop rate for warranty/repair/modifications is $50 per hour (minimum 1 hour billed)

Modified Knives:
If your knife has been modified outside of my shop, I reserve the right to refuse service.
If I agree to service a modified knife but deem it unsafe for use due to modifications, you must agree to forfeit the damaged or modified part(s) and agree to subsequent fees to bring your knife back to OEM specifications.
Modified knives that have been deemed unsafe to work on or cannot be brought back into OEM specifications will be returned to the owner disassembled.
Original Part Return:
If original parts are being replaced and are still within OEM specifications, they will be wrapped and sent back with the completed knife.
Return Shipping:
Unless servicing is required to fix faulty workmanship or materials, you are responsible for the cost of return shipping. Flat rate domestic shipping is $20 for smaller knives and $30 for larger knives.
I will send you an email confirming a delivery date you will be available.
Tracking information will be sent in an email when the knife has been shipped back to you.
